I think for mac (and I suspect also linux) the library names should  
be something like

libmint.a
libmint.dylib

libmintaudio.a
libmintaudio.dylib

etc.

For mac we can also build as a framework, which would be something like

Mint.framework
MintAudio.framework

etc.

What I was really asking was which source files correspond to which  
libs.  Maybe I can figure it out.
