We need a talk abstract today, asap (for Tim).. Should we just use the 
first paragraph from our Proposal?

"New Media Arts can be defined in terms of the cross-connections it 
makes to other disciplines. Interactive art, scientific visualization, 
information aesthetics, electronic music, and computer game design share 
an aesthetic connection to each other to varying degrees. From a 
technical perspective, these fields have similar needs for high 
fidelity, real-time graphics, audio, video and/or interaction. Our goal 
is thus to research what it means to engage in new media arts practice 
by crystallizing the right tool to enable it.

MINT is a platform for research in new media arts. While supporting 
platforms exist in each of the above areas, these typically solve 
domain-specific problems with limited base functionality. "


Ideas? I think some stuff from Graham's slides might be more appropriate 
now.
