Hi all,

Just thought that you might be interested that MacCentral
(http://www.maccentral.com/news/0002/11.leishman.shtml) just reported that:

"Doug Wyatt, the "father" of OMS, has been hired by Apple. He'll be working
on "OS level MIDI services independent of former duties at Opcode." Which
just might mean that Apple will have a much easier time integrating MIDI
and OMS-like capabilities into OS X. Thus enabling many of us to breathe a
sigh of relief about the future. Congratulations to all are in order. "

So it may be that Apple are looking to fold true MIDI support into the OS.
