This is now fixed in the latest source.

Nothing, it was a bug that has now also been fixed.

That would seem like a great idea to me. Personally I think rtf is a
messy format for code files, and it's not really used on Linux either,
but that's what the Mac folks are used to. We might look into it
again, but not for 3.2 I don't think.
