[sc-users] Spectral Peaks

Hello,

I've been looking through the FFT documentation, and I'm not seeing anything
that will give the frequencies of the strongest partials in a spectrum. I'm
looking for something that would return, say, the 10 most prominent partials
(in Hz) of an incoming signal, which I could then use for
synthesis/filtering. Maybe this just needs to be done directly with a
function in PV_ChainUGen.pcalc, finding the top magnitudes and multiplying
the bin number by the sample rate/number of samples to get the actual
frequencies?

Or, more likely, I'm still missing the convenient tool that already does
this for me. Thanks for any help...

William
