[sc-users] semi-ot / self-promo: outdoor gig Saturday Sept 8, Washington DC

Hi all,

It isn't often that I plug myself, so... I'm playing out in  
Washington DC, this Saturday, September 8, for various intervals  
between 12-4 p.m.

Location: Pershing Park (nearest intersection is 14th and  
Pennsylvania NW, easy walk from metro center station)

It's a low-key gig, nothing high-profile, but I like the idea of  
playing outside, and playing for non-specialist audiences.

Anyway, if you happen to be in the DC area and have nothing to do on  
Saturday afternoon, do consider swinging by. I won't be playing four  
hours of new material, so no need to stay the whole time, and it  
would be great to chat with some other computer music geeks during  
the breaks.

Also, if you're in the DC area and aren't aware, the sonic circuits  
festival begins this weekend also and continues through the middle of  
the month. It's an extensive roster, worth checking out. http:// 
www.dc-soniccircuits.org/2007/ (My performance doesn't have anything  
to do with the festival.)
