[sc-users] updating values of textfields

Hi all

I'd like to show current position of some MIDI faders numerically, in  
SCTextFields -- I thought to just set the field values directly from  
a MIDIIn function, but I get "operation cannot be called from this  
Process."

Tried to get around that by having a Task update the textfield  
values, but same error.

If anyone can give me an idea of how to do this I'd appreciate it.
