p2p on wifi devices with large portable disk drives would be a
nightmare for the copyright-owning industry. people like me would be
swapping gigs all the time.
therefore they can't really let people run such applications.
not to mention skyping would completely remove the financial incentive
for the phone network.
it really doesn't have much to do with fun. the business model simply
wouldn't work if they allowed this.
what steve said: it has to do with making sure that apps are stable.
he's lying, he's just covering up the real truth.
