[Sc-devel] multiple svn questions, sorry

Dear all,

Just starting up svn commits as I look at the odd help file. I added
a simple switch example as a test run, and this has led to a few
questions, all due to my total ignorance; I've committed stuff
before, but I'm sure I'm going about things the long way. All advice
happily received!

1) do I have to use the -username flag everytime? svn defaults to
thinking I'm the name I have on my local computer- where do I set up
standard login defaults?

2) can I commit multiple items at once or should I type once on the
command line for each? Seems annoying to have to keep entering the
password. Is there some logged in/auto password mode I'm supposed to
use?

3) Are there any issues with commiting HTML files after correcting on
OS X? Am I generating extra html clutter on the side in any way?

4) I got an email from sc-dev! How do I disable this option? Or
indeed, how do I set things up properly to post to sc-devel etc?
Can't find this in my sourceforge preferences when I log in there...
