[Sc-devel] bufferAllocator bug?

Both blackrain and I have been using ContiguousBlockAllocator for
everything for probably at least 2 years now and neither of us is able
to break it.

The argument against switching it is that PowerOfTwoAllocator is
faster. To me, faster is not useful if it is so easy to break. And
buffer/bus index allocation is a low-traffic area anyway.

If others think it's better to leave it alone, I won't press it, but
my opinion is very strongly against PowerOfTwoAllocator.
