I don't see where Scott is saying anything about reconstituting a
complete synthdef object from a .scsyndef file. All this says is that
SynthDesc is a reasonable place where one might go to look up specs
for that synthdef's control inputs.
Just a clarify one thing that Scott said earlier -- in our off list
conversation, my position was somewhat less than wholehearted
endorsement of this particular solution. I'm using Instr and Patch
and I'm entirely satisfied with that approach, and I don't have time
or energy to fight about the shape of a simpler solution for the main
library.
