you're missing nothing. it's a very easy task. decide what you want to 
communicate, decide on a message format for each communicated value in the 
form /word/word/word <value> <value> <value> ... , and you're away. i've 
used OSC for three years now and, for daily use on personal projects, i 
still don't see any value in engineering some kind of ur-structure like is 
being offered around here...
