[OSC_dev] Starting with OSC and broken links

Hi,
I'd like to learn how OSC protocol works to be able to develop an
application that uses it.

In the site http://opensoundcontrol.org I was looking in the developer
resources section, but I've found that in this page (
http://opensoundcontrol.org/cnmat-software-library-downloads ) there
are some broken links.

For example the first link says to point to the "library for
constructing OSC packets", that should be all I need if I "want my
application to be able to format OSC packets for sending over the
network", but I just get a "page not found" error.

I'm going to work on Linux. What shall I use to learn about OSC
protocol? Where can I get all that I need?
