I am not at all convinced by the name OpenMediaControl. Sure OSC can
be used for other media types, but given how generic a protocol it
is, why stop at media? Might as well be Open Control protocol.
Why not keep calling it OSC (which is what a lot of people call it and
recognise it as) but make it clear that it isn't limited to just Sound
based applications?

Note that liblo already uses '#reply' and has done for quite a long
time. I am trying to find out what that convention is based on.

I will certainly try an contribute. Will be fantastic to have some
standard vocabulary that several applications implement :-)
