Hi:

Finally I installed Visual C++ in the other computer, as Roger suggested,
and my app worked... but I still haven't figured out what dll was missing. I
had the pm_dll.dll, and I think I was compiling with everything ok, but it
looks that I was missing something...

Looking in Google I found many people with that same error as me (not using
portmidi, just in general) and one typical answer was:

You can find the VS 2005
redistributable DLLs in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
*Visual* *Studio*
8\VC\redist.

The funny thing is that I don't have that directory in my installation, so
probably that's not for Express...

Anyway, it's working now in my second computer.

Thanks!!!!!

Regards,
Fran
