Hello Friends,

In case you're looking for a concrete way to get involved in healing  
our society and increasing the peace, the "Alternatives to Violence  
Project" (AVP) will be holding an open community workshop in Santa  
Barbara in October.

I've been involved with AVP for about a year, including facilitating  
regular workshops in prisons, and can only say that it has become one  
of the defining elements of my life and spiritual work. My only  
regret is that I didn't get involved sooner.

Please distribute the attached flyer to anyone you believe might be  
interested in participating.
